Monday April - bike ** Two rivers Deben to the Orwell - sunny morning, cloudy and chilly afternoon.

Walk - Short Felixstowe prom stroll.

A day of two halves a sunny, warm day morning again despite still being full of cold I managed my exercises in the back garden before Mag and I walked to Lidl, through Langer Park and back along the prom, still sunny but a menacing bank of cloud now on the horizon! Then home for lunch and round up the cats for a trip to the vet, they were not impressed!

Bike - 2 Rivers.

Then after the vets and for the first time since the 1st March I decided to head out on my bike mainly to check out the windsurfing conditions at The Dip where mate Ian was supposed to be foiling from around 1.30, I later learned he gave it a miss when the sun disappeared and the breeze eased, got chilly too! So around 3 I set off heading past The Grove and down Marsh Lane, now cloudy, even threatening rain, cold too so not overly pleasant and missing Maggie my biking partner, could be a long time before she is back on her bike:( I bumped along the River Deben path to Felixstowe Ferry and whizzed back now with a tail wind and a very quiet prom! I continued to the end of the prom, through Landguard Nature Reserve ending up briefly at the view point. The docks are still very quiet, only one container ship and the Rotterdam dredger working. Back through Langer Park and home for a warming cuppa and cake.
We have a few breezy days but not feeling 100% I am not sure what to do, will make up my mind in the morning as with the wind onshore it will be chilly again and I am very chesty at the moment:(
